Finale Guesses

We never watch the show on the correct night but we did last night.  I assumed it was because Debbie wanted to vote but did not have confirmation of that until she went and got her phone just before Sawyer's last song.

So I had hoped to write up my notes from last night before the winner was announced but that isn't going to happen.

So put your guesses here!

My guess, in order:

1) Sawyer
2) Meghan
3) Koryn
4) Joshua

Though apparently Josh did pretty well on iTunes, one more data point cementing my being completely out of touch with my fellow Americans.

    I am too bitter to guess, as they parade Deanna, Hannah, India and Kimberly around just to taunt me, at the beginning of the finale.

    Jim, did YOU make the song selection for Blake and Meghan last night? It has your fingerprints all over it.

      I would have called Pat picks in that order for America. I would go Koryn, Megan, Sawyer, Joshua for me.

      Okay, Sunday afternoon I am driving home from a 3o-something mile bike ride (don't ask) and since driving is prime thinking time, second only to shower time, I thought i would come up with songs that the top 4 would sing, and then I would post it. I didn't post it because i was sure I would just embarrass myself (I know, right?) but this is what I came up with.

      Megan would sing When A Man Loves A Woman. But then I thought "No, That is exactly what Pat was talking about when he said "Quit It"", so I went with Save Me by Queen.

      Sawyer was going to sing In The Pines by Leadbelly. Dark. I wonder if he can pull it off.

      Koryn was going to sing ALABAMA by Neil Young or RUN TO ME by the BeeGees (because Sarah Potenza never got the chance.).

      Joshua was going to sing either RIVER or CASE OF YOU by Joni Mitchell.

      It would have been so much better, but so....

    I think (hope??) Sawyer or Koryn will win, but I have a feeling Meghan will because... well... Blake and Nashville.
